Any food that can literally take the varnish off the table has to be some sort of practical joke. Even brits won't eat lutefisk...

Ok, I was wrong on Hot Dish...

Ok, Hot dish IS :

A meat stuff (Like hamburger, sausage, or the like)
A Green Veggie thing (Peas or green beans)
A Potato topping (SPECIFICALLY : tater tots, mashed potatos, or crushed potato chips in a pinch)
Cream of mushroom soup (mixed in with the green stuff & meat)

Sometimes you can involve some Dhurke onion crisps too. But you put all that in a casserole, top with the potatos, and bake at 350 until it's "done". And that, folks, is "Minnesota Hot Dish".

Now if oyu add cheese, it becomes a WISCONSIN hot dish...

And Lutefisk is EVIL! EEEEEVVVIIIILLLLLLLL!!!!! Not, really, unlike kim chi or REAL tobasco sauce.
