XSV are the LA Ironmen of '03 with a few new players who were the SC Ironmen of '02 and before were the Ironmen prior to the Bob Long split.

Either way, they are currently ranked #2 behind Dynasty in the NPPL by only 3 points and #1 in the Millenium Series by a massive margin. So almost the best 7man team in the world and probably within the top 5 if you were to imagine the NXL teams in the mix.

I think the primary reason for the XSV name is that their primary sponsor is XS Energy drinks, rather than just calling themselves 'Excessive'.
