Hi All
Took my 12 year old to his first paintball training day over the bank holiday and he had a great time. Only downside was that his pack was falling off (ended up wearing it like a bandolier), couldn't find a shirt or pants small enough and the markers he used all looked huge in his hands (Geo2, NT10 and DM7). I've tracked down an Empire bounce vest that fits fine, he has a pair of Dye i3s and a small pair of Dye gloves. Have any other players/forum users found particular kit to be really kid friendly?

He found the NT rather heavy but liked it and the Geo2, although they both looked huge when he was carrying them. I have a 0.8 bottle for him to use to reduce size and weight and thought the DM7 would be compact enough for him but still looked too cumbersome, any suggestions?
Cheers

in terms of pants/jerseys the valken are apparently kid friendly along with proto
packwise try nxe they are very adjustable with much velcro and fastening wings to keep it snug

gunwise the nt is the lightest i think? and in my opinion most comfortable of those listed but perhaps a lighter loader or a mini? and maybe a small dropforward to keep the gun snug as possible?

He found the Geo2 lighter but the NT may have had a 1.1 bottle on, which would have added weight. There were some AXEs at the training session, which I should have got him to try. He was using an old JT slam pack which I think is smaller than my old NXE pack, but will check again. Will take a look at the Valken and Proto kit.

My lad had the same problem at 12 as he was small.

Got him an Empire Mini and it was perfect. Also got a DXS air tank as they were smaller than the rest at the time.

NXe pack was fine too as it had loads Of Velcro.

Pants wise, LiPS got me a Youth set of Hybrid Contract Player pants.

Pants are on EBay now but end tomorrow...

Cheers

Nah mate the Etha is smaller than the etek and I would also get guerilla reg on a safer bottle, smallest reg and lightest bottle combo with an Etha would be cool :) lucky lil fella :)

Is the ninja probate same size as the g reg? And valken gear is child friendly as my mate (13 bow but 12 at time of purchase) has a mini pair of valken pants and a proto jersey in junior aswell :)
