Removing the foam

Ive just got a set of plum coloured JT frames but as they're second hand, the foam is pretty grim ive pulled off as much as i can but theres still the bits stuck to the frame, does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can get the rest of it off?

If I had to take a stab at it I'd maybe try heating it up and then some white spirit, but I'm sure someone on here will have done this before

Autoglym tar remover worked a treat for me, and doesnt damage the frames either,

Take it thats something i can get from a garage? no suggestions for anything i might have lying around the house? just for convenience/its dark outside

Halfords or similar will sell the autoglym.

Maybe a solvent like nail varnish remover may do it but try in a small place first.

hmm no halfords over here, perks of living on a tiny island, theres nowt to do, may as well play paintball!
