I spent half a day at this venue yesterday and was very impressed:)
A full on Mill 7-man field (bit narrow but who cares) with a decent sized safe area and roomy chrono station, regged fill air to 3000psi, lots of refs on field (great job chaps!) and friendly staff. Everyone worked hard to keep the field in use as much as possible and as a training venue come the evening sessions this will be the best (and only) option for miles and hopefully will become a focal point for paintball in East Anglia. One thing that really stood out was that with the field right next to a very busy Sunday market (huge) at any time there up to 30-40 people watching who were genuine members of the public, which is more than you get at some millenium events. There were people coming up to ask about the sport all day and as a practical way of showing paintball to the masses this site will hopefully spark some interest among prospective new players. Top stuff all round and keep an eye on PGI for pics and more details.

Gone crazy, back soon...
Following on from Olly's comments, I have to say an excellent venue.

The mornings play was 6 teams of 7 (or there abouts). 5 games all round before lunch. Some judicious use of bunkers by a player or two.....theres hugging a bunker and then there's wiping the paint from your hopper ON the bunker..... .....no worries though....justice prevailed.....keep shooting till he goes Owwww!!!

The afternoon session changed to 4 teams of 8 and some very quick turn arounds.

The field was good, if a little lopsided at times. Bunker placement was on the whole good, just one spot with a 20yd gap to the nearest bunker :p

This is an ideal site for training sessions. Flood lit and well maintained, good selection of bunkers and nice off field setup.

Thanks to all the marshalls, an excellent job with very few breaks :) . Thanks to all the players, a wide range of abilities from experienced to complete noobs and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Cheers

is that pic supposed to show him wiping?
Not unless your colour blind buddy, he was wearing red, but I can see why you may have thought that, i have edited my previous thread.

That is a pic of myself wearing blue/black, trying to give an idea of the field layout to other people.

Hey, the next time you see him on base, tell him he should get "Bobby Dukes" put above his # ;)

great day yesterday ! !
lots of fun ! !
about the wiping i didnt saw the guy doing that, but i think it was wrong, he should use the glove instead, it looks better and absorves the paint faster ! ! :p :D :D
wipping is already part of the game, the secret is to not get caught ! !
i think the important is that everyone had fun ! ! ;)

Yeah that was pretty funny watching him doing it twice in the same game, seems like a nice enough lad just needs to cut out the cheating when in a fun/training sesion.;) :D
Having said that, seeing Andy turn him green was quite satisfying:D

Overall, another really good day. It was really good to see so many tourny players make the trip and the amount of spectators was unreal.:)

Cheers to Andy (Furey), Olly and the rest of the Kitsune boys for putting up with me, looking forward to the next one.:)
