Ok lotsa questions. Im a big newbie an know about as little as possible. Right now i have an automag, not necessarily a beginners gun but i got a good price. My friends looking into a piranha BL VF G3 i think it is. Any thoughts on this gun? Any advice on a gun around the price of 120$ give or take 20 bucks?

I'd say that that's a pretty good gun for a beginner. I have an STS 'Core' which is a powerfeed STS G3 with a few features missing. It's a nice gun for the price.

Tell them to save for a week or two and buy a second hand mag.
They will play with there spyder, pirahna but will soon want a better gun....... for example your mag!!
