Peeps..after the last fiasco with water..im Playing Sunday (yay!) and i dont want a repeat performance, so....
I need to do something to make it water resistant..o, put a bead of silicon around the outer edges of the grip frame, with the grips off, so that it compresses with grips on to seal it better...or, i have a roll of adhesive plastic, like you cover books with...bung some of that on it under the grips??
:D

I think it'd help, actually, if it's compressed from the screws, it will give some springiness. Skeet's idea is for the silicon to be dry and hard (although still compressable), so it seals it up when screwed down. At least that's how I read it.

you can get a waterproofing spray from maplin or lockwell.co.uk (that last plug is gonna make my boss happy) that's pretty good.
