Brass Eagle Stingray 2 - FPS issue

Hello all,

I know its old but want to use it again, sooo.

Airs up fine, can get the fps to around 200-210, if i continue to increase the velocity via the screw then the gun fires on an automatic chatter and doesnt recock.

Is this wear in springs? Was thinking either the valve spring or hammer spring but not entirely sure which would give the above problem.

Any help appreciated.

No recock over 200-210fps = may the movement of the hammer is blocked by spring set screw so the sear can´t catch anymore, also a tank which has a to low Output pressure could be a Problem too.

If the Valve Seals fine (no leaking) the spring should be fine ...than the hammer spring should be fine too, i think !!!
