DYE Precision Europe broken into 27/4/2010

PRESS RELEASE:

DYE Precision Ltd. broken into and over 150 DM10 and NT paintball guns stolen.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.

Croydon, England (April 29, 2010) - DYE Precision Ltd. announced today that their UK headquarters were broken into and resulted in the theft of over 150 high-end, tournament grade paintball markers. Most of the paintball guns stolen were NT's and DM10's. The police have been called and a full investigation is underway.

At this point in time, we are confident that the stolen merchandise will start to show up and be available for sale online, at local paintball sites, etc. These guns, not purchased through authorized dealers, are stolen property and serial numbers have been flagged as such.

If you do come across DYE or Proto guns from an unauthorized source in a deal that seems too good to be true, please call DYE Europe's home office at +44 (0) 208 649 6330 and speak with our management team for instructions on how to proceed. You can speak with either Ellcie Conway at extension 203 or Jeff Abbott at extension 211. A list of serial numbers and gun descriptions will be circulated online and shortly and available on our website http://shop.dyepaintball.com/eu_gb/intro/.

In this small, tight-knit industry, we call upon our customers, friends, industry colleagues, and all players to keep their eyes and ears open and send any leads or information you have to DYE Europe. All information will be treated in the strictest confidence and if it proves to be key in finding the goods and those that stole the items, you will be rewarded appropriately.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding at this time.

Hi All.
I had intended on sending this out yesterday, unfortunately due to the break in causing many disruptions, Phone calls, meetings and general crap I didn’t Get around to it, and I am sorry because honestly, yesterday I was moved by the actions of so many in our relatively, small community for putting any other issues to one side and for seeing how damaging this is. People sending out mail shots to all those in their contacts to further spread the word, Posting the info on other forums to reach out , Creating a Blog regarding the issue asking for anyone with news to make contact and Phone calls asking if there is anything at all they could do to help. The response to this world wide has been so supportive and really reassuring.

Players and Industry Executives alike are willing to go the extra mile to work with us to track down the goods and those responsible, and it is so genuinely appreciated. When you come in one morning and find the place you have poured your heart and soul into for the last 5 years or more has been vandalized and burgled you find it hard not to take that to heart, it’s not my company or building but all of us here feel like it’s our baby. It’s amazing how much peoples compassion and want to help, can change your thinking and actually help you take something positive from this sh!tty situation.
So before I carry on getting emotional and gushy, A final thanks to everyone for the Support and a reminder that if you hear anything at all to please call us on +44 (0)208 649 6330 or +44 (0)208 6869001 or email anyone in DYE or PM Tommy or the DYE account or if you prefer to call the Met Police on 03001231212.

Take care

Ellcie.
