Just starting out paintballing and bought my own gun. I also go shooting so I already own a 3l 300 bar diving bottle i use to refill my gun. how many refills could i get out of it with my 0.8l 3000 psi bottle on my gun? I dont mind if its about 3-4. saves me going back and fore the diving shop just to fill my tank up once.

but you will have to remember that it will go down in pressure each time but would think about 3-4 with good fills about 3 more still over 2000 (but would change your air bottle as above by tom)

first of all you are trying to fill a 3000psi bottle from a 300bar 4500psi source.

This is dangerous.

Dive centres have a seperate regulated air supply for the smaller rated bottles, and they know what they're doing.

the 3000psi is about 232bar when we fill these in dive shop they are done in seperate banks of 232bar and 300bar as tom has stated you run a very high risk of blowing your bottle and the injury would be bad if not fatal (about same as a grenade).dont risk it as you dont know if your gauges are correct...get a 300bar bottle and you ok
