I bought a 2nd gen Mini from here 5/6 months ago and i love it! We play 2/3 times a month and i've never had any problems with it. My mates have all moved on to ETEKs and PMRs but after trying them i still prefer the Mini (until i can afford an Ego anyway). It's light, accurate and reliable.
The guys are right though, if you're not going to buy brand new, you really should try before you buy, i was lucky enough to buy mine from someone that took great care of his markers.
Overall i would definately recommend the Mini, you won't be disappointed
