This is awesome mate, nice one. Good to keep the ball rolling.
I think it's a good idea to decide on what sort of paintball we'll mostly be playing. I think it's a good idea - seems as most of our gear is aimed that way, for us to specialise in scenario / woodsball for now, and perhaps get into tourney later.
As for the name, Northants Giants was kind of a joke, but actually it could work quite well. I'm not fussed about the name, though I would recommend keeping the county name in there, seeing as that was the purpose in it to begin with. Not to mention it could help with recruiting.
I also like the idea of county matches in the future though that's probably some way off.

Also - add the maybes into that list.
I have one maybe, but he's already in a paintball team with his friends from his work. Originally he said he would not have the money to play in two teams, however he now seems to be coming round to the idea and will likely be up for it atleast some of the time. So that's plus 1.

We could also perhaps do with our own forum. Anyone know how to do that? If not I'll look into it.

Most brands / teams etc go through various amount of names before they hit on THE ONE, but until then this will be our nickname
I wondered if NN SWAT was too cheesy.....
I think the idea of forming a team is great, but we should probably focus on getting to some games before worrying too much about what we have printed on team jerseys!
Haha completely agree Dev. I think for now we should concentrate on getting a list of people together, finding out what type of paintball we're all into, and trying to arrange something around that.

So 8 already hopefully. Not a bad number. I am sure if we get a couple of days out sorted then we'll find people willing to join us on our travels.
We spoke about September being a good month to meet up. I am hoping to go to Staargate in Sept. It's one of the biggest paintball events in the country apparently. Downside is that it's in Wakefield (South of Leeds). I get free fuel paid for by my company, so I can take a car full anyway Might be fun and throw us all in the deep end as far as meeting eachother for the first time goes, but I'm sure it'd be a laugh. If not, hopefully Valhalla will be open again around that sort of time.
