oil !!

Ok. I don't know how daft this question is but I own a spyder and the bolt is rubbing down the side of the actual gun and causing scratches all the way down the side of the bolt.

Is there any special oil I have to use or can I go down my local hardware shop and buy anything oily.

No - You cant use any oil that you find. Some are for heavy machinery, some are for cars etc. Go to your paintball shop and they should have some specific oil for paintball markers.

Some non-paintball specific lubricants will corrode your o-rings. Stick to gun oil

My bro has got a Spyder and he has the same problem. We went through all this and when we asked the guys in the know they said that the scratches are perfectly normal. The only way to sort it is to buy an upgrade kit.
