Replacing fill nipple correctly ?

Ok thanks guys for both your input , contacted the seller to see exactly what was happening with the old fill nipple ,
I've inspected the piston and oring and all looks fine to me , so I will probably re fit the old one and try getting that filled instead.

just to hijack this. are all Fill nipples made equal?
Im considering replacing mine, though it may appear that the issues ive been having are related to the Orings in the fill rig

no they're not, they're all made to the same standard design externally but the innards differ in designs from make to make, and before you ask i don't know who makes what but i do know which type i prefer.

cheers. I have a pure energy bottle, so do I need a pure energy nipple or will any nipple work?
