Smart Parts Max Flo Micro Bottle Regulator

Does anyone know how good the Max Flo Micro stands up to other stand alone regs such as the Crossfire or Pure Energy?

I have an SP MaxFlo Micro that I used to use on my PMR (PMR didn't have an on/off so it seemed a good idea at the time) and now I have an ego05 i'm not sure if I should:

A) get a new bottle reg and use the Ego05 on/off
B) replace the Ego05 on off with the Max Flo Micro
C) quit being a cheap git and get a whole new bottle/reg

Any views/advice/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Mods feel free to move if you feel this is in the wrong section.

stick with what you got, all other eventualities end up with you needlessly spending cashola.

I used A SP micro max flow on both an EGO 07 & 08, both worked flawlessly but eventually I purchased a new bottle as I wanted to use the EGOS on/off. Admittedly this was purely for aesthetic purposes but was clearly at the cost of a new bottle…… just a budget thing for you I guess.

just bolt the maxflo to the 05 the one i have do have a on/off ?

Thanks for the advice. I think spangley_special and PaulC hit the nail on the head. If am not going to lose any performance then the money that I would have spent on a bottle could be better spent elsewhere for the time being.
