Long story short my cousin wants to start playing in the Netherlands and possibly Germany, Belgium and France. I am a Canadian player myself and want to send him home with a tank because I have a few spares but the question lies what sort of certifications does it need to have for me to do this? I know in Canada we need to have a TC number and in the states they require a DOT number, I have read that some places in Europe require a PI number but I have never even seen a PI number on a tank. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

In addition is Germany the only country who requires an F Stamped marker?

The Pi mark is required in Europe, dot & tc cylinders are not permitted to be used unless they also have Pi

Sorry - cant get a proper link right now, but the following has the Pi mark

(Its the Pi symbol that looks like a gate - markings are the lower line shown. #EN1975..... But it's a Pi symbol not #
F stamp is for Germany, laws vary on specifics but for Germany the marker has to be limited on velocity
Some people get f stamps even though the marker can exceed the allowed velocity but are risking getting caught - and there have been cases there

I believe France have a licensing / membership scheme

F stamp is for Germany, but you also need to have the distributor and "cal. 68" stamped on the gun somewhere.
