The 3000psi air tank looks like an old 1/2 composite wrap alloy bottle. If so it could be near its service end date, and also AFAIK have a shorter 3 year test cycle. Same goes for the 20oz Co2 bottle (5 year re-test) as these also need to be in date before re-filling.

looks like ill have to find a club to join

and im going to get a second-hand bottle to replace mine ill phone the local council to see how to dispose of the old ones

hey welcome to the site. theres a site located in chester and one in wrexham i know that not exactly close to aber but its not that far either. check out http://www.outpostpaintball.co.uk/ theres an open day there on 5th for walk on play. and the manager of the site is lookin at gettin carbon fibre bottles in for around £50 each (he buys in bulk so its cheap)

how do you refill them when there empty this looks like a big problem

If you get an adaptor you can fill from dive bottles at your local dive shop, but as mentioned your better off keeping it on site so you dont end up blinding the neighbours with a stray ball.
