nope - general consensus is that the double reg with LP mod is the most consistent combo.
If you want proof look at Bobby's or Zack guns - almost always double reg

If you have a classic I would suggest you buy a volumiser, inline and LP mod it. It's not hard but reduces the kick dramtically and (for me) made it more efficient.
