I can never understand why when god made us, he also built in 'curiosity' as one of our fundamental qualities as human beings.
Curiosity is the mother of science and science is the undoubted bane of religion, and so it seems god has created a situation whereby we humans are attributed with the capacity and desire to undermine his religious teachings.

It kinda smacks of oversight or deliberate mischief making, either way it's unsettling because if God is playing games with us then Einstein was most definitely wrong, and if he isn't then this was an oversight .... which is even more worrying

I'm glad I'm an agnostic, it tends to defuse such mind blowing problems.
