You'd think wouldn't you... But no! To get an offer from a top ten uni (I say this as i dislike the use of the words good or decent) you need to get them to look at your UCAS form! With some unis getting huge numbers of applicants you need decent grades all round to get an offer! One of my friends had 9 A*'s at GCSE and 4A's at AS level and still got rejected from university college durham! Go figure!

only joking, i was terrible at english. but seriously guys, gcses are a breeze compared to a levels. i had my last ever lesson ..er.. ever today. and had one retake on monday. one piece(thats how ya spell it matt) of advice, make sure you take advantage of coursework, coz ya dont realise how much they help till after you do them. especially for retards like me who cant handle the pressure of exams.

saying that, did well in gcses, now currently doing ok in a levels, looking forward to a year in industry next year where i get to tell ppl what to do and get paid 200quid a week for it.

good luck to y'all, coz i know i need alot of it

People,

don't over-stress it, sure GCSEs and A levels are important but you need to be able to think when you get into the exam hall. First year of my degree I saw people crying outside the exam hall at the start of the day...WTF? If you get that worked up there is no way you will be able to do as well as you could if you had stayed calm and actually thought your way around the questions.

Good luck to you all!
