Cocker Maintenance

Cockers aren't that bad one you get to know them. Some useful links:

There is also a VCD about that shows Bud Orr taking apart, reassebling adn timing a cocker. That's well worth getting.

But any problems and the tech-room should be able to help you out.

Is is a hinge trigger? If it isn't I highly recomend one, you should be able to pick one up for somewhere around £45

don't worry - they are wrong about em being pump guns.

By definition a pump gun is one where the gun is cocked manually, in a pumping action - hence the name.

An autococker is a semi automatic and nothing to do with a pump because the the user does not have to take any action to recock it.The internals are recocked by air pressure and not the user having to 'pump' it, therefore it is a semi auto
