Newbie - Markers

i've been looking to buy an ion as i'm new to the sport so this would be ideal.

however i'm now willing to look at other markers out there.

what would you recomend a good marker for a newbie

also what price would your recomended marker sell for second hand.

if you want a nicely set up gun then i would recommend getting a second hand one as it is all set up and you really do not need to do much too them.

have a look at an angel - they are going for £200-300 second hand and are very easy to use and maintain. and if you ever have a problem - lips will sort you out!

try before you buy!

to be honest mate, i've only got about £300 for marker air and hopper

best bet is the ion then - dont hold me too it but for that budget its probably your best bet. for a hopper look at al's halo - http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=75840&highlight=speed+feed its £55 with rip drive - retail at £90 new

and for air go with a second hand one off here - just make sure it is in good test and wont die soon

not bad budget. Ion's are good starter guns and can be upped as you get more experienced

not to fused about playing gear just yet or pots etc..

you can always pick up pots here and there - or borrow some - unless they ask for them back they are yours to keep

If you're patient, after xmas you'll get loads of bargains. An angel 05 speed is one of the best deals out there, and you should get all you need for around £300.
