Some where close to your hart
It’s about time we had some Event's up here in the North East of England. The sport is expensive enough but when you add travelling costs on top of the events they start to expire all out of proportions.

Example: Shoot the Rainbow, its going to cost at Approx £150.00 per person for the event and then add travailing cost for a single person in a car to and from the event (North East) its going to amount to at least £200.00 +. That’s one hell of an expensive weekend.

When if ever is there going to be some events in the North East?

And If not why not?

Standard 'stop whining about travel costs' template applied

We travel over from the Isle of Man, and it costs MINIMUM 500 notes to get the team off this rock BEFORE we even start to travel to a comp.

PA cup is a good example :)

I travel from Newcastle to events and find it okay...

Feel sorry for the likes of the clan though and the Keltics who have another few hours just to get to Newcastle :S respect to the guys though for putting the effort in :)

yup, we have no right complaining, those lads show up at every tourney. That's commitment.
It's an expensive sport.

But...............we hired a mini bus to get down to ancaster..........that worked out really cheap......... we'll be doing this for every tourney next season.........so we may have some spaces :)

I understand your feelings towards travelling TacticalMayhem but if everyone was like that, there would not be any big tournaments like Shoot the Rainbow, as no one would be prepaired to travel.

When playing a sport like this, travelling is just part of the sport. To play the best you have to travel. Look at everyone other sport. At the top, they have to travel.

its oky i dont mind traviling would just like to see some more copms closer to home !!!
would`nt we all just think a lie in bed for a change:)

but unfortunatley it ain`t gonna happen unless someone sets it up and make it worthwhile
which means having the finance backing, locations, and the hired help eg putting up netting, feilds marque etc
