Isn't that pretty much what the shocker turbo boards did that were around in 2000 (i think thats when it was)?

Kinda....the Shocker (and Impulse) turbo essentially worked by each trigger pull being about 1.5 cycles.....so if you pulled the trigger 2ce you'd get 3 shots....and so on. Whereas with the Neve, once the user pulls the trigger to the speed defined by the setting, the BPS will ramp right up to as fast as the loader can feed and continue as long as the user keeps pulling the trigger.

The date was more around '98 and '99 when all the fuss kicked up over the Turbo. What goes around, comes around.
