well this isnt getting anywhere; I am adament the gun is damaged and the second I text him stating this he was pretty defensive swearing dropping in the F-word immediately.

He has refused a refund; I will chase it up myself now but to make mods aware that he has sold an item that is faulty and refuses a refund denying it,

go for it as it was not sold damaged at all and they is more people to back him up but u say that if i get them to vouch it will mean nothing
I dont seem to understand why you are so intent on defending him- if there was nothing wrong with it - or even if there was he can get it fixed under the warranty he bought it under ? Very suspicious how he has his friend defend him; or are you both one and the same person perhaps?
Either way his vouches mean nothing when I have tried it today for the first time and it doesnt work; its his "word" against mine ultimately.

Others on the forum seem to be quite happy usually to work such things out; He immediately was defensive accusing me of damaging it ; what on earth is my motive for that? And if I had damaged it using it I would just bite the bullet and accept that and just the few quid to get tippman to fix it - but thats not the point; it was sold like this hence my annoyance and his blatant refusal and denial of it is why I will be following this up and I wont just be "going away".

I can confirm that this was faulty. It's frickin despicable that the faults were not described to him. I discount completely that it could have been damaged during transit as it is just not that sort of problem.

The proper solution to this would be to issue a refund and return of the item and if you genuinely believe that this was a problem caused by the carrier then you should take that up yourself with the carrier as they have damaged the item. I am sure Mephestic will be willing to assist you with that.

He has not done it, as I was with him when he tested it for the first time.

He was excited about getting to use it and was gutted when it didn't work. Why don't you do the decent thing and accept a return like any other decent person would?
