I am in no way defending Tim - I want him to pack up shop too... but if he hasn't been told by Tom Cole that he no longer is granted the license to UWL, then he isn't committing fraud. Even if Tim 100% isn't doing it, he needs to be told even if the next promoter isn't announced yet.

There was no fixed contract as I'm aware and so it can be thought of as roll-over deal and I think that barnett has to get in contact with Tommy to ensure he can run under the UWL banner for following year.
Personally, I don't give a monkey's ass if barnett is contravening any law because even if a crime was committed then nobody is gonna go chasing barnett for recompense for misuse of someone else's name.
All Tommy wants to make sure of at this point in time is that everyone knows barnett's been ousted and a new promoter will be lined up.

You get hearsay because they haven't yet decided who to have as the replacement.
You are more than welcome to give Tommy a call and ask him yourself and then you won't have to rely on hearsay anymore.

I understand they haven't got a replacement yet, but if Tim isnt running 100% as others had said a statment wouldnt go a miss.

Hi Kyrne, I think the problem lies with the UWL being a couple of clicks down from the top of Tommy's 'To do' list. He's up to his neck in trying to lock down event venues for the NXL next year.
The UWL isn't an income stream for Tommy, if it is, he ain't gonna get rich by it.
I realise people over here will maybe get a little impatient and I sympathise with them but Tommy will get round to sorting it out soon enough. If I can, I'll call him later today and discuss a few options where he can maybe speed the process up.
If he wants me to help out with his selection problems then I'll do what I can to help [but NOT by becoming the promoter !!].
I'll let you guys know what he says if I can get a hold of him, I can't do a lot more than that really.

Just to throw a spanner in the works here but,,,,

If UWL is not trademarked, that's the name and the device (logo) then Timboy can use the trading name of UWL UK.
Trademark being ™
Registered Trademark being ®

I've seen neither on the official UWL website, or a copyright legal line for that matter.

Both trademarks would need to be covered in the UK. If Tomboy attempts to trademark it then action can be taken for "Passing Off". Otherwise is all about copyright infringement and would have to go to court.

As we know Timboy is an enormous arswipe, and grade-A narcissist, so my money is on that he will simply steal the UWL for the UK.
He claimed once that I stole one of his game formats, of course that was BS as I'd been running the format for the 8 past years, none the less he insisted on saying that I was crook and took his original idea (like he's ever had an original idea).

Snoreline will do the same thing as always, say that they invented paintball and the UWL.

barnett's subterfuge in [ab]using the UWL name/brand has one slight technical flaw, everybody in paintball now knows some of the truth concerning barnett and his actions.

It won't be a matter of who owns what, or indeed, who uses what - If you don't like what you've heard, or read about barnett then you ain't gonna be wanting to pre-pay for any event, especially if barnett's involved.
And anyway, it's the players who eventually determine what's right and what's not, so let's see what happens in the next few months.
