I usually give mine to the missus and it comes back not only clean, but folded up and smellin' fresh too:D

As far as i know she whacks it all in the machine, bit of persil and roberts ya fathers brother:cool:
(or bobs ya uncle;))

If its supa muddy 'n' ya dont wanna jump in the shower/hose yerself down, hang up ya dirty kit somewhere dry, once its completely dry brush of excess mud with a stiff brush.

Just stick it in the washing machine at 40*c, it can't do that much more damage as you sliding about a field in... can it? ;)

*I won't be held responsible for you killing yourself, your gear or washing machine* :p

pah, bollocks to this 40*c, stick it on a 60 wash. Never hurt any of my stuff. (mother did put my JT pants into a 90*c wash once, they shrank a bit in the leg, but otherwise fine)

Hose/shower off any excess gunk, then bung it in the washing machine. I have Dye Hybrid trousers, and an Angel Airtime jersey and they come out perfect everytime :)

Nice to see you are washing stuff as some paintballers don't understand these strange washing machine things. In fact the last two items I bought, (Eclipse Hoodie & Empire large bag,) had to be washed thoroughly as the previous owners had no idea of what "cleaning" means. The Hoodie STANK (I can't stress this enough, as frankly it was like the hoodie was born, raised and died in a cigarette testing facility,) of cigarette smoke. The bag was so filthy I chucked the whole enormous bag in to the shower. It took me 2 hours to thoroughly clean it inside and out. I was not impressed.

put all mine in for a prewash cycle with no powder, then a rinse, then a standard wash at 40oC with the spin reduced to 1000rpm, full dose powder. that does the troos and the top.

everything else - 40oc - 500rpm - small dose powder.(chuck in with other bits and bobs of laundry for a full load)

perfectly clean and no sign of damage - just be carefull about lycra stuff and velcro....eg: arm/knee pads with velcro on trousers - that's why i split mine into two loads.

I'll add to that keep all soft/delicate items, such as shirts with airtex panels, slide shorts etc. away from items with Velcro that will catch on them. Gloves and small items I make sure the Velcro is stick down on the wrists etc, and put things in mesh bags with drawstrings to keep them separate I had a few of these left from when I used to climb to keep rope and gear separate in my pack, large items such as trousers I found a pod bag does the trick and turn them inside out to stop the cuffs etc. threshing around. depending on how bad they are, add a prewash and or a scoop of vanish with the detergent, no fabric softeners and 40* seems to be fine. Often after training I just wash the under garments, and if stuff is caked in mud, and I mean more mud than stuff, I tip it in a luke-warm bath to loosen off the mud then just hoik it out and drain and rinse the mud down the plug hole.

Don't tumble dry stuff and don't put your gun or goggles n the machine, or your pack, I just rinse that off if its really bad and use a scrubbing brush and soap if needed.

Now and again you may loose a logo or 2, but I'm stil using a pair of 2005 trousers that have been in the machine countless times

my wife washed our Dye tops at 60oc and some of the transfers came of on the arms........ SO
i wash them myself now, Dye tops Angel Pants Dye Hybrids Pants, Dye Gloves and anything else needing washing...
all at 40oc and they wash perfect everytime...

as far as giving them a scrub the best thing is the dish sponge cleaners you can get for next to nothing... with sponge one side and a ruff scrubbing side on the other allowing you to scrub and get rid of stains BUT not hard enough to leave a HOLE :)
