06 ego ?

So aside from the bitching the marker looks pretty nice. They've Timmy-fied the back-end where bolt sticks out, Star-frame as standard, different milling and a longer, weirder front reg.
Anyone know about the internals? Any noticeable upgrades?

Internals are virtually identical except ball detents are better on the new ones and cannot be used on the 05 egos.

I also believe that the frame is only STAR like as I think they are bringing out a star frame for those that can use the 3 finger technique.

Some of our guys have been shooting the new 06 Ego for a few weeks now, at training and at the Euro 5 man.

They all love the gun, it is faster than the 05 Ego, (which was fast as hell anyway). The new buttons on the back of the frame are easy to use, and the changes that Planet have made to the gun from 2005 are definately for the best. Althoguh the 05 gun is awesome anyway.
