Driveby !!

Just for the record,
Incase the guilty parties are interested or just to enlighten everybody on here,

There was a driveby paintball shooting earlier today in Edinburgh!
Somebody drove past one of the biggest car dealer forecourts in scotland at approx 10:30 thismorning and fired 3 rounds at a member of sales staff who was escorting 2 customers around the pitch.
1 of the rounds struck the female customer in the face, narrowly missing the ladies eye!!
The other 2 rounds hit one of the vehicles sitting on the pitch.
Forunately this was all recorded by our freshly installed cctv system!
The police attend rapidly, assisted by the ambulance service to check to assaulted lady over, she narrowly avoided severe damage to her right eye.
we had in attendance 3-4 police cars, police photographer and even a helicopter searching the surrounding area!
I believe the culprits were driving either a silver renault or a transit van, the police are not giving us too much info for just now.
May i congratulate the ****s who did this in embarrasing me at my work for being associated with the sport and for bringing another problem for serious scottish ballers to deal with (i have not played for 3 years now) the police have all the information needed to catch these pr1cks and i hope they spend a decent amount of time getting screwed in the a$$ in saughton prison for their fu*king stupid actions.

great, another article on the evils of "air weapons" on the front of the P and J or the daily hate...fantastic...all we need.

to be fair..when you can buy markers paint etc over the net without any kind of questions asked....this is going to happen sooner or later. and it will again. and again and again until the sport is made illegial or someone in the industry does something.

Someone find these ****s and have a word....chances are the fuclers will only get some menial community service charge anyway.

It wont be made illegal we shall properly just end up following suit like airsoft where you have to be a member of a club or soceity which will give you a leicence to by the markers...

But not really what we need and not doing the sport any good., hopefully people will use there common sense and not put paintballers and the shooting together, just like when people are shot in pubs with shotguns people dont go after clay pigeon people with pitch forks

True, people wouldn't go after the clay pidgion people, but if loads of people got clubbed to death with golf clubs, they would do something to the sellers of the clubs. Maybe stick a minimum age or something on it.

Yer but there person wasnt killed. they were injured and there are loads of incidents involving knives and bats etc...

That still won't stop the unscrupilous dealer/site owner/big brother/uncle/dad/mate etc etc

hopefully, tho i bileve from info on this forum the fact paintball markers are made to fire breakerble objects its a grey area which means we dont need stuff like licenses

certainly agree with you mate, half an inch and she could of been blinded, if pressure high then who knows!
