How to work a cocker

Ok guys, i've recently come into possesion of a cocker.


now the gun is chopping when you get it going, like over 15bps. i realise some of you may say but the cap is 12 etc. but this gun is for walk ons and a personal project. belive me i am not going to go out shooting a cat or shooting at a bus driver. trust me on this one. Would anyone know the likely causes of this? any help with a cocker would be greatly apprectiated, would also like to know where i can find a manual (online or a paper one) for a eblade 1.

ahhhh s**t im all out of fairy dust and black magic? will pixies and voodoo work?

Could be a lot of things causing chops, from board settings a mile off, adjustments needed to cocking mechanism, or a faulty breech eye sensor.

Check everything is set, adjusted and working properly mechanically. Put a fresh 9V battery in & set the board back to factory fast defaults. Make sure the eye is working ok - manual explains how to check this. Hopefully that will get it shooting ok?

i was told that the timing might be off?

i also want to know how to cap it to 15 bps because currently it doesnt have eyes (work in progress) also does any one know where i can pick up a new body for it?

A team mate has a gloss black 04 WGP body drilled for eyes that's up for grabs. Looks like the one in this photo...



Mech Cockers can shoot minus eyes at fairly high ROF, and be chop free provided you have a good FF loader like a Halo. At higher ROF that Blades can reach you really need eyes to avoid problems.

Which board has the blade got - standard E1 or an upgrade like the zero B?

i belive its the standard eblade board. wouldnt know tho. i am absolutely clueless about cockers and only got this yesterday
