leaking bottle

hi guys i got a couple of leaks around the threads on the fill nipple and pressure gauge you cant hear it but when you put the reg under water you can see a constant flow of bubbles

ive tried re raping them with teflon tape but no joy would it be ok too use a drop of lock tight on them (when i say a drop i mean a drop) would that seal it up ok without any risk ????

Use thread lock bud , just dont get any down the inside of any other bits

i learnt the hard way with lock tight when i built my first helicopters i put too much on so when i crashed it and couldn't get it apart it cost me a fortune in new parts, so now i never put it on the end of the thread always a couple of mm up and just enough too do the job

Put a couple of drops on and tighten up, then spin the bottle over until the fill nipple is facing down and then leave to dry. That way any loose sealant runs away from your reg.

one drop on the thread and fit. Wipe any excess away and leave for a day before touching again.
