if you have another back player, when less players are in the game, tell them to cross up so you both are shooting in field, but at each others mirrors and tapes so left shoots the right side, and the right shoots the left side etc.
Aaaand shoot alot of paint to help your front players move up / get into the snake (if you're playing the snake side)

u say back right corner, it is usually better to pick a corner either teabag or snake side and play that whether its on the left or the right. this is beacause playing a teabag corner is very different to a snake corner. Try both out and see what suits you, teabag corners can usually move up a bit more readily as teabag front guys will quite often be able to shoot their own lines as they can stand up in the bunker, for snake guys its very difficult to battle their corner guy in a lying down position plus coming out down the line is the only safe way to move so you might be relied on to shoot lots of paint down the line to keep your snake guy safe. You will also need to be good a gun battling and timing is also essential.

rather than shooting at your mirror try and dominate a zone at the other end of the field which will includ your mirror. your job isn't really to get kills its to shoot paint and get your fronts in the positions to close out games. all of the backs in our team are very good (at the level we play) at containing two to three players in an area allowing the forward the chance to move without getting tagged.

another job is shout loud and listen to your team mates. with holes opening and closing all over the field, as you can see the most you need to let your team mates know what your doing and what the other team are doing.

shoot lots of paint, be on your gun constantly and be comfortable with it, practice defensive drills 3 on 2 etc etc and communicate constantly, you are the eyes of the team

1. Learn how to run fast to corner bunkers
2. Learn how to run fast and shoot whilst running whilst making for that corner bunker
3. Make sure you know each position of each bunker on the field so you can instinctively call it out
4. Know your team codes
5. Don't stop shouting where the opposition is (if you voice isn't raspy at the end of the day you aren't doing your job properly)
6. Practice your snap shooting (standing and kneeling) as you may be a long way away but you can still get hit.
7. Always be prepared to move forward if needs be to support your forwards (Your team plan should contain eventualities for this.)
8. Remember you are the support guy, the lynch pin, you are not the glory hound superstar forward. Your only praise is that your team wins, and not that you did a 3 person run through or singlehandedly crawled up the snake. You are a team player !!
