yet more ion help ahhhhhhhhhh it just doesent like meeeee!!

hey ive just fitted a qev to my ion but when i shoot it seems to leak down the barrel any ideas how to fix it?

all fixed ty ( or so i thought )

for the love of god please some one help me. it is leaking down the bolt. i can put my finger in the bolt and it gets pushed out, its a fire bolt and before you say it ive checked the internal o ring, infact ive checked every posible o ring there is and changed them all ive done everything it says on zds paintball and still no joy any smartpart ion techs anywhere? or anyone know wat i should do to fix it

so far ive done:
-changed all most all the orings ( all the ones that zds says could cause bolt leak including fire bolt internal)
- lowerd dwell
- done raffles trick
-pft taped the banjo threads
-cleaned the solonoid on my board
-tryed the stock banjo instead of the qev
- cleaned and relubed the bolt
- used a fully filled bottle
- lowerd the pressure to 140
- pulled small hose 0.5 mm away from solonoid

you connected the hoses correctly?

What type of QEV is it, to help try and diagnose the problem? Eclipse, SP 360 etc.

Make sure the hoses are on correctly, and that its screwed in finger tight (but no more, to prevent ruining the threads).

Leak down the barrel.
· Check these o-rings for damage; replace if necessary.
bolt sail o-ring (16x2-mm ID)
bolt stop o-rings (14/70 and 20/70)
body breech seal (17/70).

Make sure (as the others have said) that the hose is long enough, un damaged and fitting correctly.

Try lubing the oring on the qev so it makes a proper seal.

also remember to drop your dwell down now you have a QEV.

Try knocking it down from as said above. check o-rings as well. What doe sit say in the trouble shooting part of the manual?

all the o rings seem fine , could the leak be due to dwell?

Did you try lowering the dwell?



Have you tried puttin the stock banjo back on? Just to see if its the actual QEV thats the problem or something else?



You certain its leaking down the barrel? Not out of the gripframe?
