CPPS was the first ever x ball field i have ever been to, and i loved it!!

Only just starting to get into paintball recently, and i am currently buying my kit. I was amazed at the talent of some of the guys there, unbelievable paintball. Hopefully in the near future i will start playing more and maybe look at joining a team and playing.

But going to CPPS really encouraged me to play x ball and im sure there was a few other people there who dont play who want to start playing. So it's good for the sport i guess to get new people down there like myself.

Really enjoyed it and will be down for the next round :):)

Slight moan about a certain team using two or three Entity players to win games in the conference division and openly laughing and boasting about beating teams in under 30secs. Come on supposed to be a division for young teams to progress.

Overall impression though was good:D
yeah but you guys play race to 2 over at the masters and hold your own against some top teams so your just as bad :p

if you get hit and dont walk then its a one for one thats it, it carnt be much clearer than that?

Pikey, if the above was true then why did i see some people 141'd and others simply taken out for exactly the same incidents?

Different marshalls... Different viewpoints... Different circumstances...

Every case will be different, did the player flinch when diving in, did he knowingly glance, did he fire his gun... Until we have Robots from the year 2087 there will always be inconsistency in calls. Your negative viewpoint is that you feel you were on the wrong side of those calls, however i'm sure you'll agree that when you are on the positive side of these calls your viewpoint will be very different.

Marshalls do their best and as most will agree stricter is better. I thought they did a top job in our games and the ones I watched.

i agree with Gsuperstar, my point is that each and every player know that when they are hit and dont walk its a one for one so players can not complain when such penalties are issued, my comment isnt refering to the consistency of calls that will have to wait til 2087 when we have robots.. i thought the refs did a top job this weekend

rich great event as usual:)
reffing on fields 4 and 5 spot on no problems,we couldn`t argue with any calls
we had 1 problem at the end of the day but that was partly our fault for not checking a score;):)
a few ideas that may help the running of the championship on fields 4 and 5
designated tables for teams may be a few extra as this is the largest div:)
also how about a speaker system for the refs to call teams because if you are not on top of field 4 and especially field 5 you can`t hear the call to fields:eek:

even when our very own frenchy started his own revolution (Sorry Team Rampage :S)

Cya all at round 3 !!!!

He's French so i guess my guys can forgive him for that...

Guys put it down to perhaps abit to much redbull in his stomach :D..

They did however say that the rest of you guys appoligised for him and thats all good to me at the end of the day mate...[/QUOTE]

All I have to say is check the millenium rules.
I apologise fo shooting your player but they shouldn't have stayed on the field.
The best thing would be to add dead box on every field or at least tell the teams to have their player to leave the field when they're out.
For your info, I had a dead player of another team talking to me and shaking hands while being checked after hanging back the flag. For me it's nonsense.
Otherwise the CPPS is really great and playing in england is a real pleasure.

I wondered how long that would take ;)

Its all good fun at the end of the day and the game we played against the SoManc/Entity players was one of the better/fun games I had throughout the day. I enjoy playing better teams thats how we progress is it not.

Sunday was a scouting exercise to see where we may fit in next year if we choose to play CPPS.

Very interesting day.
