I've been dying to make a comment, but i've enjoyed reading this thread more.

PS. and Jamesgibbo, good on you for having a go, a little bit off but helpful anyway.

hold on 2 refills would do the job for your 2000 paintballs i would say. for your practice

air tanks are like 20000 psi maybe even more?

you should get a 4500psi tank for your gun that will keep going for a lot longer.
what air tanks are you using? scuba tanks are around 3000psi (232bar), you can pick a 12 litre up (in test) for about £60-£70 though I recmmend a diving website for more choice, a fill rig so that you can top your bottle from the tank is £45+

Air fills at my local dive shop ar £1.50 but they can be as much as £3. I used my 12 which kept my 0.8 and my mates 1.5 running for well over a box of paint

i think the package is a gd starter but you should buy a blackheart board for it (£80) and you should get a on/off put on it
