er.... think bully was trying to say that he runs a site and u dont realise how many expenses are incurred b4 a profit is made, so by dropping the cost of paint from £120 a case to £60 would be like cutting his own throat

I think people tend to forget that paintball is a business.
What about land, storage, equipment, staff? And on top of that it's seasonal and mainly weekends. Running a game takes up the whole day, then there's prep before and cleaning markers etc... after. And a lot of sites are still recovering from the BSE scare.... lots of missed business when sites near farms etc.... got caught up in the quarantine.

It's cheaper than ever now, and it will get cheaper as more people start to do it. (everything is cheaper in bulk). Without rec ball, we wouldn't exist. But people have to make a living.

And yes, tourney is expensive, but a lot of players are adding about 30% of their costs on the look of their kit. We've got a choice, we just seem to go towards the most expensive stuff :) whether it performs better or not.

Hats of to the site owners, without them we'd have no sport.

And I agree.........sites could drop paint to £60, they'd just have to charge you £60 game fee to break even :)
