Not getting promotion did break hearts this year.

It does not look like many of us will be playing for a number of reasons anymore, not all though. There is and was no team as well run and dedicated as ECI was. Therefore i cannot even imagine playing for anyone else - ECI 'till i die.

I have never played on a team with as much heart, and that fought for its brothers as hard as we did.

Missing the SPL hit us pretty hard. Especially Dave.

Real life got the better of us too, losing 3/4 guys to college/uni and a couple more who simply couldnt afford the heavy training regime.

I dont regret having such high ambition, we had no interest in making up numbers.

Thanks Dave and Twizz for an amazing year, you both taught us all so much.

Thanks also to DYE, Draxxus/Manic, D7's, Sloth and PGi (RIP) - the best support you could ask for.

Thanks to all the sparring partners - Notorious, Storm, Shock, Nexus, Tigers.

My heart sank when I got the news.

Dave did an outstanding job with the team to get them to the level they were at. A lot of players and teams within the UK looked up to ECI and rightly so, and for that they can hold their heads high.
