But doesn't that seem sort of irresponsible? Bringing kids up with everything they could ever want, so they don't understand how others feel when they don't get what they need, don't understand how to use their money responsibly, and don't understand the consiquences(sp?) of wasting cash.

Of course, that would only really happen if the remaining parent was lax and the children were very young, but it just sounds like an instant recipe for spoilt brats who never grow up.
Irresponsible, maybe if she was there only parent.
Hopefully their dad will help steer them in the right direction.

more important people die everyday (soldiers for example) and they dont get a tv show and million pound magazine deals
Who's to say who is more important?

We all have our own opinions on this, naturally. She chose to make the most of her dying moments rather than spend it hanging around a hospital ward waiting for the last moment, and your flaming her for that?

If I was her, I'd be making the most of my life while I could, she wanted to get married, she got married? Yes it was another story the media enjoyed, but to be honest, the media were writing about her every movement, whether she could lift her head, whether she could walk etc so inevitably her wedding was going to be a major storyline.

I mean this in the nicest possible way, because I have a lot of respect for all our soldiers, but they're all individuals with the same goal. And that goal has been simulateonsly mentioned within the media for a number of years, whether a lot, or little. Each soldier hasnt been named for obvious reasons.

Jade Goody was an individual who made an impression on a large number of people, good and bad. Hence her celebrity status. So as with any celebrity, whether they wish so or not, their death is going to be publicised. You can't hold it against her because the media chose to publicise her and not the soldiers fighting for us. Because if thats your problem start another thread taking it up with the Media.

/2p's worth :)

If that's the way you are viewing the loss of your cousin, a fallen soldier, as a matter of pounds and pence, then you need to look at re-assessing your values my friend.
not its not but here we have children, like jades, who will grow up in a very different manner as they are not blessed with money, money that did not come from someone doing a heroic thing like jade
