Right, i'm just getting into the sport and have played 3 times (2 woodsball, 1 speedball). I prefer woodsball.

I need a marker would love a PMR LE camo - something along those lines. Age is not too much of a concern.

A bottle that uses air not CO2.

A mask too!

And a hopper. I'm not too fussed about the hopper because i'll be doing woodsport and don't need over 7BPS really.

No .50cal

I need everything to begin, i'd rather get it all at once.

No more than £300. Preferably <£250.

Thanks in advance

if you have no kit at all just now, invest in mask, pack, suitable clothing/protection first. no point in having a nice gun if you can't see out your mask to shoot them and you cant move because you're stuck in a pair of jeans.

Good point. I'll add a mask to that list. All our local sites give players the same boiler suits so there isn't much point in me investing in clothing just yet.

I'm in our university club you see, we have about 80 people who play at once and the site gives us all the clothing and packs with the canisters of paintballs in.

its obviously entirely up to yourself of course but i 100% insist you make sure buying a decent mask is the first thing you do. if you've got a a comfortable mask that doesn't steam up you'll enjoy yourself a lot more.

Mask was the first thing I bought :) As soon as you've got your own thermal mask you will see how much better they are compared to rentals! I got one of the cheaper protos off o' Just (knowing full well that I'll sell/chuck it as soon as I have enough monies for an i4 in Red Cloth)

After that, a nice little steelie + pods (off the forums here) as well as a very nice £125 gat (need to find a new board since its from 2007...)

Hopper, jersey and pants I all got off of team members who had spares going :)

All in all, I've spent just about £250 on equipment and its all working out really well! Have a serious look on the For Sale section, everyone's really nice and remember that there are plenty of FS threads lying around, so go back 10/20 pages as well.

(p.s. you will soon be addicted to paintball! Make sure you have a big enough hole in your wallet)
