Should Prophecy be banned from the Millennium Series?

At the Paris event this team exhibited some of the worst behaviour i've ever heard of from a paintball team...

They were beaten badly by the Notorious Kidz team, partly due to one of them being caught playing on with a headshot and getting penalised. After this an adult player wanted to fight with the team, after having a go at a photographer, and got laughed at. Then they made up lies about the team coach (DS) and five security guards escorted him from the site.
Then, with the coach out of the way, members off this team threatened and hurled abuse at the members of the Notorious Kidz team (some aged 13) and also at their parents who had accompanied them - charming phrases such as "I ****d your wife" were used.
There were many witnesses to several incidence of this behaviour, they even had the cheek to boo and shout taunts at the prize ceremony. My questions are these:

Do the paintball community and the Millennium board think that it is acceptable for a team/members of a team to bully, intimidate and harass young kids and their parents at a paintball event?

What kind of message does it send if there is a failure to investigate or condemn such behaviour in an official manner?

Can they explain how a coach can be removed from site following false accusations and without allowing fair contest, while allowing young players and their families to be subjected to abuse?

People tend to remember bad experiences more than good ones, i'm sure the spectating parents will have walked away from this event with a very bad impression of tournament paintball, some are infact worried about allowing their kids to attend further events. No doubt they'll be spreading the word.

What do people feel should be done? Any word from a member of the board...or are they as cowardly as team Prophecy?

prove it to the board and then ban the specific members involved ..zero tolerance (sorry to sound like an MP) ..it's very bad for everybody
and paintballs got enough twats without letting people think this is allowed to go un-punished

*EDIT* although to be honest sometimes taking the offender behind a marquee and giving them good ****ing slap sorts it out quickly.....

ABUSIVE LANGUAGE
UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT
INTENTIONAL PHYSICAL CONTACT

these are a few of the reasons players can get banned in the MS. If all these can get players suspended, i dont see why it couldnt result into a ban if taken to a certain extent of abusing those rules....

I would ban them, irrelevant of it being kids that they threatened/abused (although the fact it was kids makes it worse in my eyes).

It will be a very said state of affairs if a parent took there kid away from playing due to the actions of a few people, both for the development of paintball in the UK (we need more kids with enthusiasm coming into the game) and for the actual fact that they have gone to compete and enjoy themselves, not be subjected to what sounds like bullying tactics...

Be interesting to see how the MS deals with this. Will they come good and do something that reflects them in a positive light for a change...

Some of these kids' parents drive them half the length of England every Sunday so they can learn and get coached to play good paintball - they put a lot of effort in themselves, and this is the kind of experience they received for their efforts. I'm glad the kidz won, they deserved to just for the amount of effort they put in.

Prophecy have put on some disgusting behaviour and should be ashamed of themselves.

Damien - There was no homicide because they made sure Dave was out of the way, as cowards do. But even if he had been there, you and I both know he would not have been the one to start things - we have seen him keep his cool under much worse. Dave cares about paintball, he dosn't have anything to prove physically by beating on someone with a low appreciation for a functioning bone structure.

My view

I think they should be banned full stop that is awful behaviour that I would not normally associate with paintball let alone a bigger and supposed professionally run paintball event.

Prophecy must have had some sort of link or something like that to event as I cant understand why they would get away with all that and ensure the other teams coach is carried of by six ‘houses’ (security guards)!

Anyway there lucky Zinedine Zidane wasn’t one of the parents.

Its very bad Im 16 and well if that happened to me. My Dad would end up in prison and that would end my paintball transportation or he would never take me again anyway!

He didnt just play on he tried wiping it!!! Luck would have it the Judge on the other side of the field spotted this and 3 for 1'd him,

So that one player from Prophecy, who wears white vents,(Just for other teams future reference;) all I can say BONUS BALL THE CHEATING F**K)
*Back to subject got carried away there....

He let himself down , his Country down and most of all his Team down...

FEEL THE SHAME...

HE WIPES AS BAD AS HE PLAYS TO BE HONEST!!!!:D

When he left the field after HE got his team smashed by NK, he went to have ago at the Photographer....whats that all about, then he came and fronted me, he was REALLY REALLY SCARY:p all mouth as per usual...

Then some story got made up and DS was being escorted of site for some unkown reason....

Then I left for my train home.

Now I have heard they gave the parents abuse after I left, THAT REALLY BIG OF THEM !!

BRING ON the PAIGN!!!

LONDON'S WAITING FOR YOU, BUT SO WILL THE KIDS, BE AFRAID VERY AFRAID

Very perceptive of you Domo, there is infact a link to an individual. I wonder if the matter will be sorted out objectively? Time may show that some people are more concerned with helping out their mates than they are about running an event/series which is safe for players and their families to attend....I guess we'll see.
