small leak

i've got a leak coming out of the gauge on my dxs tank.
The leak is comming out of the bit that screws in to the reg if ya get what i mean
i've tried putting some thick glue around it and it worked for a few hours then it started leaking again from the same spot. I can easily peal it off but when i do what should i do to stop the leak???

and please do help me, even though its a small leak it empties 3k in about 5 hours.

remove the gauge and re-loctite it, leave for 24hrs.

Or get someone who knows what they are doing to do it for you

Buy a new tank with a reg already installed

Buy a new reg and put that on

Get a new gauge and install that

Leave it

There about your only choices

ok thanks balf, so ill probably take the gauge off. But i just tried getting off but its on realy tight. hoiw can i get it off?

Boiling water and a strap wrench or boiling water and a guage removal tool.

And FFS make sure there's no air in the bottle BEFORE you do anything
