Simple... You'd be able to see the gauge when you stick your head inside the blast box

To be honest, especially if you've got a micro-gauge, it's only worth using as an indication of if there si soime pressure in the bottle or not. My old armagedon system used to read 6000 when it was full - so I was a lot more inclined to believe the big old oil filled gauges on the HPAC rigs than a ****ty little micro-gauge.
