Living on the edge, often bouncing on a ledge
Cheers for the feedback guys.

Perhaps I should of said what would you want in a realistic site lol.

Astro pitches are very expensive to construct properly and the cost rules them out of any short term plans.

The grass based pitches are usually fine from March onwards, its only the persisitant rain and snow that we have had which is causing issues up and down the country.

not disagreeing totally, as the weather has been shocking, and we all know we are all desperate to use the fileds as soon as possible in the year, but surely keeping some of them closed until the potential for them to get mullered is reduced is the best idea?!

Get in touch with some councils or hockey clubs........every few years they change the astro pitches and usually give the old turf away for free if the buyer collects. It's easy to lay.....me and my guys laid the one at NPF for Ged.

I'd woodchip around the edges of fields and just box pathways/staging areas in so it doesn't spread.

Keele, Staffs.
One word, drainage.
I don't really mind getting muddy n' all that but having feilds with lots of standing water not only means some of us spend the first rounds of the year wet n' cold but it means that all the cleats just rip the field up.
Otherwise, nothing wrong with what we have, Big fan!

The field at NPF is amazing, love it.

Lol, I was worried when we were putting it down.......I kept thinking "this better not come up next week!". Still, it looks as good today as the day we laid it.

Good changing facilities, ideally something indoor or even cabins/lorry backs. A parking area which isn't weather dependant. Very unlikely and limited, but the tower they used to have at Dartford was pretty immense for watching the games. Dedicated pits for each team for xball joined to the field.
As for drainage, its often not viable, hopefully we've seen the worst of the weather for the season, but if it can be improved, it does make the playing experience better

I'd personally like to see prober dead boxes! So when your shot you go to it not off the field. Just always thought thats what CPPS was missing. Also Maybe a Place to SIT! like a mini staging area or something.

Trophies are nice also :)
