So go be a marshall for a day then call us a waste of space. RANT OVER

QFT - being an ex-marshall for DF myself, i have got to say we were run ragged all day because of the sheer numbers of people you have to look after!
lw2309 have you marshalled at a Delta Force site?? If you haven't then why don't you give it a whirl and then comment...

true the paint is over priced and is harder than reballs, but all the marshalls i know/ knew do a great job at looking after people, so that they have a fun day!

No, I haven't marshalled at Delta Force, and I have already said that some marshalls may work hard. However, the marshalls at the Delta Force site I visited were a waste of space and were mostly sat around. I understand that looking after large amounts of people playing paintball would be a difficult job, but surely you get paid well considering the price of the paint, or does all the money go to the owner, if so, he must be one hell of a rich guy.

 Look, another person commenting on the overpriced paint.

You need to look at the facts mate, paintball sites have alot of bills to pay. e.g. for the site, insurance, paint, they have to pay the staff, have to look artfer the site, making sure its all correct and safe.

You have no idea, how much they have to fork out to keep there sites going... And so what wow they make a bit of momey out of it... Its a company. Just think about that when u buy a new marker or something of high value... There not going to sell it to you for a price, were they dont make any money are they....

I can understand some people have had some bad exp with some paintball sites, but Dont go jumping to conculsions that they make sh!te loads of money, when really you dont know

The fields are quite good, but overused. Behind every bunker there was a four inch puddle because so many people had been jumping into it, if you want a good woodsball site, go to OTE on congleton.
The site near me is in great condition and they have 3 sup air style fields, great site shame about the prices

Well, I am glad that most people have been to better sites than me.
It may have just been the site I visited.

Also, I understand they have a lot of bills to pay, but so do other sites that have less cutomers, and charge less for paint.

lol @ people that have no idea about business. It is expsensive but not because they make it that way. If you dont understand overheads and all the costs of renting land, people power and insurance etc, why even bother making foolish comments that only make you, look rather dam stupid.

I don't see how my comments are foolish.

All I am saying is that I think there paint prices are expensive. I have said before that I understand that they have bills to pay but other sites have to pay bills as well and there paint is over a third cheaper and it is much better quality.
