I did notice however that the brain box section seams to have took a holiday at the moment which is a huge shame as i loved it.
Maybe you could lead by example and inspire the members into debate?

Maybe it's best the Brain Box has taken a holiday what with GoldEdition on the prowl ... I'm guessing he'd nominate some of those who posted for Nobel prizes should he see some of the threads in thereI know bud dont worry about it lol!

The way i always look at it is... Even if someone, ANYONE, reading the threads is inspired by the tinyest part of a post then the the thread and or the forum done something positive.
Even if the tinyest little part inspires someone then its a bonus. Personally i just burble sh!t, whatever is in my head at the time etc but if a small part makes someone reflect and look at things from another persons perspective whether its right or wrong or as a whole as apose to blinkers on then i feel i/we have accomplished something.
What i type or say is meaningless as everyone thinks differently, sometimes for good and sometimes for bad. But if just reading a poorly written post on a internet forum makes someone inspire to be better or reflect or think for themselves then i think it cant be a bad 'thing'.
I wouldnt profess to know everything or indeed anything but if someone reads and thinks for themselves then whatever i or someone else type(d/s) has served a purpose and that person has learned something for themselves and not just followed suit

I'm all for people being inspired Chriz but I suppose my point was Orwellian in nature in that some people seem to be more inspired more than others.

The religious faiths around the world don't really disagree about 'whether there's a God'
The specific and current problem is when you get into 'Christianity' vs 'Islam'
Now, the Catholic Church actually documented when they decided to make Jesus 'the son of god', instead of a regular 'prophet'. It was Pope Clementine I believe, but this document exists.
Now, if that document were published, there would be far less difference in the fundamental teachings of the worlds top 3 religions. That would help the world, and save a ton of lives. So why not?

what i don't understand is that if it can be proven that "god" doesn't exist what does that actually change in reality??
god only exists to those who believe in him, her, or whatever guise your "god" is.
many people now choose there own religion's anyway, my final thesis at uni was about how alike football teams and their supporters have become like many religions.
they have a "mecca"(home ground) they have "desiples"(players) they have the "cross"(club badge) and a "god" (manager/ best player/ club capitain) and of course something that you have to have with religion!! WAR, (local derby)
so my question would be if there is no god, and therefor no religion, would this discovery bring us world peace???
