Hey guys thought I'd run a log on here for my current shego project incase any one was interested.

So I picked up this shocker for 30 quid on here as it had a bust noid, I happened to have a spare so was going to fix it and then flip it. But then I decided that as I'm looking to ball again after graduation (so in like 2-3 months) I'd fulfil a long time ambition and turn it into a shego.Renie was kind enough to donate a beat up 05 frame for the cause.

I then ended up trading it with a baller who wanted it for their daughter and offered me a load of shocker/ego parts (more than I'd be using from the shocker) so traded it for this stuff. (I have pm'd renie offering to ship back his frame as I wont be using it)

As you can see alot of the work has been done, the frame has been milled/dremeled out so the noid fits and mounting holes drilled but there are no electronics. Picked up an 05 virtue ego board up for 25 dollars from punisherspb so will be using that.

With so little work left to do, it seemed like this project wouldn't fulfil the my DIY need. But pbN came to the rescue with the many mods listed in the shocker section. Not sure actually how much gain these mods will give, but half the point of doing this project was just to give me something practical to tinker with.

I am doing the Sleeve high flow mod, basically drilling a load of extra holes in the bolt sleeve, about 40% done. Speeds up the venting and pressurisation of in front of the bolt, helping lower dwell and/or operating pressure

I have cut the bolt guide in half, I'll then be drilling and tapping each half and fitting a grub screw, effectively resulting in a diy NDZ adjustable bolt guide.

And I have machined out the bolt on the lathe at uni, for the spring bolt mod.

Stiff still to go:

Removing the integrated rail off the star frame, as I'll be running a reverse rail.

high flow modding the manifold.

Solenoid air vent
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3598661

Break beam milling, although I'll probably be getting one of the guys on pbn to do this for me, as I'm not too confident doing it myself.

Things I need to finish:

Will try and keep this updated as I go. Thanks for reading :)

Right cut off the integrated rail and filed it down. It needs a bit more work to clean it up, probably another 15 mins with the file and a little while with some wet and dry, but here is how it's looking. I'll be rocking the stock FEP Quest rail as pictured to give me a bit more length and get the shocker's fat bum out of my face, without adding any height to the set up.

Still waiting on the spring so I can finish off the mods to the bolt kit, and need a 4mm drill bit before I can drill and tap the bolt guide (some scally has stolen the one from the drill press at uni)

got an asa on the way and really only need a barrel now to get it up and running. (albeit blind)
